We are a 100% volunteer first aid squad, providing round-the-clock emergency medical services to our friends, neighbors, businesses, and visitors in our section of Bernards Township, New Jersey. We do not get paid for our efforts, and our patients are never charged for our basic life support services. We do not receive funding from Township tax revenues.
All donations are 100% tax deductible to the contributor as we are a 501(c)(3) organization as described by the Internal Revenue Service.
We conduct a formal fund drive by mailing a request letter to each residence and business in our coverage area in the fall of each year. One reminder letter is sent if we don't receive a response. We do not solicit door-to-door or via phone for donations.
